The Colour Run returns to Paris on March 29th. Yet another sporting competition? Not really; it’s more about having fun while getting awesomely messy! The team of your C.O.Q. Hôtel tells you more and invites you to participate in this extraordinary global event.
The Colour Run; a race that’s not a race
The idea, of course, is to travel 5 km. But all resemblance to a traditional style foot race ends right there! In the Colour Run, there are no winners or losers or timing of runs. The only goal is to participate and share an occasion filled with fun and bonding around common values. Born 8 years ago in the United States, in 2020 the Colour Run will take place in no fewer than 200 cities in 40 countries and involve some 8 million people. Will you be one of them?
What is the Colour Run?
The Colour Run is above all an opportunity to be together. A wealth of activities and entertainment is offered along the course, including fitness dancing, marching bands, sports coaching, photobooths and more. Each section of the route is also associated with a colour. As you progress, you’ll be covered with a natural and edible coloured powder corresponding to the distance covered. The real objective of the race is to arrive looking as colourful as possible! To celebrate at the finish, there will be a music festival with a succession of performers changing every 20 minutes. Remember to register ASAP!
